**About the Role**
Are you an organised, proactive professional looking to make a meaningful impact in community healthcare? We are seeking an entry-level Administrator/Service Coordinator to join our dynamic OPMH (Older Persons Mental Health) Community Team.
In this role, you will provide vital administrative support to our interdisciplinary team and play a key role in coordinating services for clients, working collaboratively with clinical assessors and service providers.
As part of the Administration and Clerical Pay Equity Claim settlement this role has been mapped to National Band4/Profile 4

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Administrative Support**:
- Maintain the integrity of the patient management system through accurate data entry.
- Process cases, referrals, waitlists, and service coordination requests with efficiency and care.
- Coordinate services for clients in accordance with support plans and timeframes.
- Accurately record unmet needs, service gaps, and ensure documentation is current.
**Service Coordination**:
- Support clinical team members by organising and managing routine administrative service coordination tasks.
- Act as a reliable point of contact for communication with relevant agencies, clients, and service providers.
- Address scheduling conflicts or delays by liaising with clinical team members and updating support plans.
**Customer Service**:
- Demonstrate initiative in resolving inquiries with a problem-solving mindset.
- Ensure effective communication while maintaining confidentiality and adhering to relevant legislation.
**Team Development and Participation**:
- Actively contribute to team discussions and service improvements.
- Seek opportunities for ongoing training and personal development.
- Share knowledge and foster a positive, supportive team environment.
**About you**
**Essential Skills & Experience**:
- Accurate and proficient computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Strong organisational and time management abilities.
- A client-focused approach, with excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
- Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Professional attitude with a focus on self-care and teamwork.
**Desirable Skills & Experience**:
- Experience working in health services, particularly in community health or mental health settings.
- Familiarity with patient management systems.
- Previous experience as an administrator in a complex organisation.
