**About the role**:
As a member of the Regional Field Operations leadership team and New Zealand Management team this key position is responsible for leading all device services operations including product fulfilment & distribution, repair services and device readiness operations. The Operations Manager is responsible for ensuring all Operational capabilities, processes and resources in the business deliver the most effective outcomes in terms of quality, efficiency, cost, compliance and customer satisfaction.

A leader willing to embrace change, the Operations Manager will manage in-house operations and a number of 3rd party suppliers to SLA, support new product introductions and deliver best in class device services operations.

**What you'll do**:
Operations Management
- Daily operational performance output, capacity & resource management.
- Responsible for security and industry compliance for Key Injection Facility (KIF)
- Close liaison, strong relationships and alignment with NZ based commercial teams (namely in Wellington and Auckland).
- Prioritize schedules based on turn-around-time (TAT) and service projects, equipment efficiency and materials supply.
- On-time new product / customer deployment for new product.
- Ensures accuracy with Verifone, EFTPOS New Zealand and Customer owned inventory and stock management.
- Monitor dashboard of Key Performance Indicators related to Inward Goods, Test and Clean, Repairs and Order Fulfillment activity.
- Promote teamwork and cooperative effort. Facilitates linkage between teams regardless of reporting lines that share common commercial and operational issues & goals.
- Management responsibilities - Mentor, develop, provide guidance to site resources and manage performance through setting objectives, providing feedback/coaching.
- Facilities Management - Coordinate & maintain standards of sanitation, maintenance, security and housekeeping of site & facility.
- OH&S Management - Develop, implement and direct programs to ensure safety of all personnel, equipment & property. Maintain standards of safety of site & facility.

Customer Management
- Attend and arrange meetings with customers for updates/project discussion as and when required
- Prepare monthly billings and governance review sessions
- Provide quotations/PR for projects/spare parts charges
- Maintain customer asset list
- Manage customer service levels and report performance
- Assist sales for new customer onboarding and costings.
- Manage customer related projects
- Manage terminal preparation activities for terminal deployment
- Manage terminal deployment and scheduling
- Optimize inventory (minimize inventory) for required repair parts / accessories needed to support deployments and repair services.

Vendor Management
- Track performance and drive for continuous improvement in performance and cost
- Drive contract negotiations with service providers
- Contribute to supporting global operations and supply chain initiatives across APAC
- Ensure staffing levels, either FTE or temporary Staff from 3rd party service providers, are continually optimized and adjusted to maximize profitability ensuring labor costs are minimized while ensuring service level attainment.

**What qualifications will you need to be successful?**:

- 6 - 10 years within delivery operations or technical services within a highly complex, fast paced tech environment is preferred.
- Experience with the electronics payments industry is an advantage.
- Proven track record in leading, motivating and mobilizing teams, whether direct or indirect, of the right scale and technical proficiency in a complex operating environment.
- Experience in managing 3rd party suppliers.
- Understanding of service centre & distribution centre facilities, maintenance, planning & testing.
