**About the role**
This is a great opportunity for a Medical Laboratory Technician to secure a role in our Component Processing Laboratory in Auckland - responsible for a range of duties including processing of blood and blood products, quality and process control procedures.
**About you**
To be successful in this role, you will be a Registered Medical Laboratory Technician, or working towards registration with the Medical Sciences Council. Experience in a Component Processing Laboratory is advantageous. You will need to demonstrate excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills and have the ability to achieve the targets and objectives of the service. You will also have a positive attitude, and have the flexibility to fully participate in our roster that also includes evening and weekend work.

The NZ Blood Service is part of the Public Health Response (Vaccinations) Order 2021 (Health Order) effective on 25 October 2021 requiring employees to be fully vaccinated against Covid-19.
