**The Opportunity**

We are actively seeking a new Telecommunications Draughtsperson to join our team and will be reporting directly to the Draughting Manager.

To support the Downer business by;
- Providing appropriate support to field and office staff with respect to the interpretation of telecommunication network records.
- Coordinate with Downer, their customers and other staff as necessary to help develop and refine record systems, standards, processes and documentation.

**What we are looking for**
- A knowledge of telecommunications network technologies and practices, including those of our major customers.
- Experience in the use of GIS and CAD software, preferably in a telecommunication or utilities environment
- Skilled in relevant customer software systems and other computer software use / access as required
- Well-developed organisational skills
- Good communication skills with the ability to interact with a wide variety of team members, contractors and customers
- The ability to incorporate innovation into work processes and outputs
- A sound understanding of the financial parameters of the Draughting function
- A positive attitude and commitment to providing a high quality of service
- The ability to work well within a team as well as on sole-charge work
- Able to work under pressure and to deadlines
