Tyler Wren is looking for a commercial broker support for the Rangiora office of an established and growing NZ-wide broking firm based here in Canterbury.
**The client**:
Our client focuses predominantly on Commercial Insurance, working with businesses across a range of industry sectors across the North and South Island.
**The role**:
The client is looking for a professional and capable support person to assist the broking team in the small Rangiora office. The position also represents a great opportunity for a relatively junior person with ambitions to progress into broking, with opportunities for advancement and mentorship.
**About you**:
You'll have experience in the insurance sector, perhaps in claims or sales, someone with prior experience in a Broker Support/Assist or account executive role would of course be especially valued.
Your experience would ideally be in the commercial insurance space, however, experience in the Domestic space would absolutely be considered.
Attention to detail and solid customer-facing skills are critical.
**Key duties**:
- Processing renewals
- Annual reviews and administration
- Remarketing
- Compliance
**Key skills and experience**:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A strong and positive work ethic
- Exceptional administration, IT, and customer service skills
- Excellent computer skills capable of using the Microsoft Office suite, especially excel to an intermediate level
- Ability to build rapport with internal stakeholders/insurers and clients
- Proven ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workflow
