We are looking for a dynamic and talented Merchandising Area Manager to help ensure the success of well known New Zealand brands.
The successful applicant will have the ability to empower and lift leadership capability across the Auckland region, to ultimately improve customer service, sales and operational excellence.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing the merchandising strategies and tactics for multiple retail locations and brands, working closely with key clients’ representatives, retail store management and internal stakeholders to ensure product placement, presentation, and sales meet the company's standards and goals. You will also work closely with the merchandising team to plan and execute product launches, promotions, and events and ensure the team operates effectively.
In addition to these tasks, you will be responsible for analyzing sales data and making informed decisions to improve sales performance. You will train and develop Store Managers and merchandising team members on visual merchandising standards and strategies.
As a leader in this role, you must be able to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and have strong people management skills. The company prides themselves on their company culture and are looking for someone who can look at someone to continue to build on this.
