Auckland City, New Zealand ProgressionHR Full time

Takapuna location, hybrid work
- Take responsibility for payroll, grow your HR Analytics skills
- Part of a highly regarded HR team

This innovative, New Zealand-based, services business is looking for a Payroll Administrator to join their HR team in this important role, where you’ll get to carry on their history of delivering strong customer service to the business.

**Great things about this role you should know**
This opportunity offers genuine career development, as you’ll be part of a highly regarded, medium sized HR team. Over time, the role will evolve to take more of an HR Analytics focus, growing your wider skill set. All this, and you get to enjoy hybrid working, balancing work from the lovely Takapuna offices with up to two days WFH.

**Here’s what you’ll be involved in**
You’ll be managing the fortnightly and monthly payroll process for a business of around 400 people. Liaising with the external payroll supplier, you’ll work proactively to resolve issues and ensure the system is used to maximum capability. You’ll also be the first port of call for payroll queries, which will see you working to educate people about the system and payroll process. Partnering with stakeholders within your HR team, as well as finance and the wider business, you’ll provide a seamless user experience and always be finding ways to continuously improve processes.

**Skills and experience you’ll bring**
You pride yourself on your conscientious approach and attention to detail. You love delivering high quality customer service to the business and are deadline driven. You’ll have one or two years’ experience working in payroll, including strong working knowledge of the Holidays Act, ACC, PAYE, Kiwisaver and other relevant legislation. In order to deliver quality service to the business, you’ll need to have strong Excel skills and delivery a high level of accuracy.

**To be eligible for this role, you’ll need to have the right to work in New Zealand.**
