Working 10hr rostered shifts (including weekends) to meet service requirements
- Managing guests in Isolation and Quarantine Facilities across Christchurch
- Registered with the Nursing Council of New Zealand with a current APC
- Sound clinical and managerial/leadership experience
- Hold or be working towards a relevant post graduate qualification.

The Team: _**What we do**

Our Nursing Team is responsible for providing care to border returnees in the Managed Isolation and Quarantine facilities across Christchurch. The purpose of Managed Isolation and Quarantine is to ensure people do not have COVID-19 before they return to our communities. We also care for positive community cases and close contacts who cannot safely isolate at home. You will be working alongside a number of agencies, to provide clinical management for the guests during their isolation period within a primary care focus.

We have a unique opportunity for a Senior Registered Nurse to take the next step in their nursing career and be part of the senior nursing team within the Managed Isolation and Quarantine Facilities across Christchurch.

As an ACNM working across all the Managed Isolation and Quarantine Facilities, you will provide clinical expertise and oversight to the Nurses.

Your clinical expertise and leadership skills will ensure Nurses are supported clinically and that policy and procedures are followed.
**This position requires**:

- A confident practitioner with exceptional assessment skills and knowledge
- Experienced Registered Nurse to manage the day to day running of the health component within the facilities; facilitating GP consultations, staff management and providing clinical oversight, therefore excellent communication and interpersonal skills are vital to this role
- Sound clinical leadership within the facilities to coordinate the care of guests
- Solution focused senior Nurse with the ability to work effectively within a team
- Excellent time management
- The ability to be flexible and agile in an ever-changing environment
- The ability to drive clinical excellence within the nursing team

Your leadership and clinical expertise will ensure you’re armed with the skills to tackle this role. Quick and strategic thinking, problem solving, sound interpersonal skills and impeccable management of complex situations are imperative as you interact with a wide range of people in an ever-changing environment.
