Area Manager

We are looking for an enthusiastic, driven, and experienced **Area Manager** to lead the operational management and growth of Healthvision Homecare in the Lower North Island.
**Key responsibilities**:
- Lead and facilitate “being the brand” while actively embodying the Healthvision values, vision, and purpose. You will inspire engagement and professionalism, promoting above the line and solution focused behaviours.
- Business performance including dedicated management of performance KPIs, quality service delivery, rapid response to fluctuations in referral volumes and contract compliance.
- Build an optimal workforce, inspire a team spirit and positive culture, through coaching and mentoring to enable your area to deliver on service strategy and business plans.
- Gap analysis to identify opportunities and providing constructive feedback to improve performance.
- Identify business and clinical risk, develop plans to address risk and problem solve.
- Develop and maintain operational and strategic relationships.
- Work within relevant legislation, sector standards, company policies and procedures.
- Support the development of enhanced homecare models that supports our vision of transforming healthcare.
**Skills & Experience**:
- A minimum of 4 years' experience in a key/senior management role, ideally in healthcare and experience in business development.
- Knowledge of ACC and/or Health and Disability sector within New Zealand.
- Understanding of traumatic brain injury, spinal injury and disability would be an advantage.
- Commitment to client satisfaction & unwavering client focus.
- Demonstrated ability to plan & manage multiple tasks to reach a successful conclusion.
- Proven history of getting things done with others and achieving results.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate and present ideas & concepts in a clear and positive way.
- Driven by innovation and continuous improvement.
- Strategic and commercially astute thinker.
- Able to get your hands dirty, driving operations as well as strategy.
- A high level of knowledge and expertise relating to business performance, service delivery and outcomes.
- Team player attitude with the ability to work autonomously.
- Computer literate with intermediate use of Microsoft Office 365.
- Full Drivers Licence and the right to work legally and permanently in New Zealand.
- Relevant qualification in healthcare is an advantage but not essential.
