The Kaihanga Tauanga Me Ng Raraunga | Statistical and Data Technician is responsible for the routine processes used in the end-to-end preparation, integration, testing and delivery of data and statistics for iwi affiliation data and te reo Mori. This process involves ensuring that all respondent data and integrity is captured and processed to meet the quality standards set to achieving higher quality data for iwi affiliation data.

Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch Location.

$29.50 - $39.00 per hour depending on capability in te reo, iwi geographical knowledge and te ao Maori.

Hours: 8am to 4pm

Exposure to one of New Zealand's biggest Projects.

Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Uplifting data integrity for iwi and Mori through accurately reflecting respondents' intention and situation using your expertise of iwi and hap,
- Accurately keying-in, coding, reviewing, and validating data in accordance with the Standard Operating Procedures
- Identifying instances where iwi or te reo Mori response data may be invalid, the reason for this, and being proactive in what the next steps would be
- Building positive working relationships with internal stakeholder
- Escalating issues to your Team Leader.

- Fluency in Te reo Mori, me ona Tikanga is essential
- Strong knowledge of iwi and hap is essential
- Sees and takes opportunities to better meet the information needs of Maori.
- Supports initiatives to increase responsiveness to Maori.
- Actively applies knowledge of te reo Maori and tikanga and build knowledge of te ao Maori.
- Experience and reputable in working with Iwi, in both Mori and Crown settings is advantageous
- Ability to spot inconsistencies and errors.
