Position: Hairdresser

Hourly rate: $30 - $34 per hour

Guaranteed hours: 30 per week

Maximum hours: 55 per week

Location: Hamilton

**Key Responsibilities**
- Consult with clients to understand their hair care needs and preferences.
- Cut, trim, and style hair using scissors, clippers, razors, and blow dryers.
- Colour, bleach, and highlight hair using professional products and techniques.
- Provide hair treatments including deep conditioning, keratin, and scalp therapies.
- Recommend hair care products and educate clients on hair maintenance.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of workstations and salon tools.
- Stay up to date with current hair trends, styles, and techniques.
- Schedule and manage client appointments using salon booking systems.
- Ensure high standards of customer service and client satisfaction.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations in the salon environment.

**Requirements**:

- Level 4 qualification OR 2 years of relevant experience.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Professional presentation and strong attention to detail.
