As the Manager at Mainstream Automotives Limited, you will be responsible for
overseeing the day-to-day operations of the car yard, ensuring sales targets are met,
and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. You will lead a team of sales
staff, manage inventory and financial transactions, and play a key role in shaping the
sales and marketing strategies of the business.
**Key Responsibilities**:
Oversee the selection of vehicles, ensure appropriate stock levels are
maintained, and establish service standards to meet customer expectations.
Develop and implement policies for purchasing, pricing, and marketing to
drive sales and improve the business’s market presence.
Plan and execute promotional campaigns and advertising strategies to
increase awareness and attract customers to the car yard.
Actively sell vehicles and services to customers, providing expert advice on
features, usage, and benefits. Ensure the highest level of customer service is
consistently provided.
Maintain accurate records of stock levels, financial transactions, and sales
activity to monitor performance and profitability.
Lead the budgeting process, tracking costs and ensuring the financial goals of
the business are met.
Manage the recruitment, training, and supervision of the sales team to ensure
they meet performance standards and deliver exceptional service to
customers.
To Ensure compliance with all occupational health and safety regulations,
maintaining a safe and professional working environment.
**Qualifications and Skills**:
- Must hold 3 years of work experience or minimum level 5 qualification.
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent communication and customer service abilities
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations
Ability to work well under pressure and meet sales targets
**The applicant must be a New Zealand citizen/Resident or hold valid work rights.
