**About the role**

Vector Technology Solutions (VTS) began creating real-world solutions for Vector to enable a new energy future. We’ve since turned these into market-ready solutions from which the wider energy industry can benefit.

We’re looking for a highly skilled and motivated Software Developer (please note this is not a senior role) If you’re a Java developer with ambitions to build high-volume platforms on AWS, and want to make a real difference globally with your eye on something challenging, we want to hear from you.
- You'll learn from, and be inspired by, our team of software developers in our energy revolution
- You’ll build software in Java primarily, but also gain experience with a frontend frameworks like React and infrastructure automation with Terraform
- You’ll grow in your role and in your career, collaborating with leading global partners such as AWS to build valuable software systems for a global customer base
- You’ll be determined and positive in driving business engagement and prioritisation to help deliver meaningful business value.

**Who are we looking for?**
- You’ll be using your software development skills to build valuable software in a high-performing team of full stack developers
- You're an intermediate level software developer with experience in Backend (Java, Spring) and experience (or an interest in gaining experience) in full stack, Frontend and Cloud (AWS)
- Bring with you the ability to build and foster collaborative relationships between software developers and business
- You will be happy to work in our Newmarket office a minimum of 2 days each week.
