Senior Software Engineer- Java

We’re future-focused, working closely with customers to deliver the best solutions for their needs - today, tomorrow, and beyond. **What You’ll Do**: - Designing, coding, and testing of Java program code (and related technologies and languages such as Java, JavaScript, and other related languages as required); - Designing and developing SQL database systems. - Designing and developing Build and Release pipelines. - Provide technical leadership to teammates through coaching and mentorship. - Investigating, analyzing, and documenting reported defects. - Performing maintenance programming and correcting identified defects. - Creating, documenting, and implementing unit test plans and manual plans (when required); - Creating and maintaining technical documentation. - Performing deployment and release management tasks. - Performing source control and configuration management tasks. - Liaising with SnapComms/Everbridge staff, customers, and users to resolve questions and issues; and performing all reasonably related duties as assigned by the Employer. **What You’ll bring**: - Strong communicator in English, both written and verbal, and confident to communicate with individuals and groups at all levels. - 3+ years of strong experience in full software development lifecycle from design to deployment. - A proven track record of developing high-quality software to meet business specifications while understanding processes and requirements. - Strong base as Full stack developer using Java technologies - Languages: Java, Scala, Javascript frameworks like ES5, jQuery, Ajax - Frameworks: React, Backbone, Angular - Understanding of Spring / Spring Boot / Hibernate - Experienced in using Agile methodology as well as working with SQL servers. - Positive mindset and a "Can-Do" attitude. You are proactive and can manage your time to get things done. You do not shy away from complex problems and thrive in translating strategic objectives into everyday activities. - As a team player, you can work alongside others to reach team objectives.
