Our Team
The Enterprise Software Engineering team is part of our Digital Engineering (Software) group. We provide high value custom software solutions and consulting services to leading Australasian businesses. We create web, Java, AWS and opensource stack solutions of every size, but always crucial to the client’s operations.
Our mission is to deliver the best business value, without compromising quality, by engaging closely with our clients and fully understanding their requirements. With specialists in business analysis, architecture, development, testing and project management we are able to design and build leading solutions for any business challenge or opportunity.

The Role
You’ll find a refreshing variety of work here; we do everything from boutique websites, through to large bespoke work. We have teams who specialise in every area of tech, so you can learn from the best. You’ll also find that you are involved in the full SDLC, from presales and RFP stage through to delivery.
Skills and Requirements
- A strong technical Java background (e.g. SpringMVC, SpringBoot) and experience with microservices and industry best practices
- Experienced in modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular and Node.js
- Good understanding of data stores (e.g. relational, NoSQL, static) and good understanding of when to use what
- Proven track record of building, deploying and looking after production grade software solutions using modern delivery systems and source control (e.g. Logging, Caching, Security, Monitoring, CI/CD)
- Experience in continual business process improvements through incremental changes (DevOps)
- Public Cloud exposure (e.g. cloud native architecture on AWS/Azure) and exposure to containerisation and working at the Operating System level (e.g. scripting on Unix/Linux/Windows) is a bonus

What you'll bring
With 3+ years as a Java developer, you will be confident developing in Java, HTML, JavaScript and cloud PaaS offerings. You should have knowledge about today’s major platforms (Angular, React, AWS through to the zen of DevOps) and know how to code and deliver effectively as a team using agile methodologies. You have a passion about technology and an unrelenting desire to learn and grow, and that's where we can help.

You’ll also work alongside highly capable and experienced seniors who will provide the challenges and mentoring that you need to keep moving forward.
