**About this role | Mo tenei turanga**
We're looking for a Senior Adviser to lead evaluation and reporting for Pacific-focused initiatives, including the literacy and Numeracy Homework and Tutorial programme under Pacific Budget 25.
This fixed-term role is key to building strong systems that gather real-time insights to inform investment, improve performance, and track outcomes. It is vital that you have evaluation experience, excellent data analysis and familiarity with tools to support real time reporting and recommendations. Excellent communication and report writing skills is required for this role.
You'll work closely with regional and national teams, Pacific providers, akonga, aiga, Schools and the wider sector to ensure timely and meaningful reporting. You will have experience working with Pacific communities and a good understanding of Pacific providers and networks is highly valued.

We're looking for someone who is proactive, analytical, and passionate about making a difference for Pacific communities.
You will have:
- Strong evaluation and analytical skills, with experience designing evaluation frameworks,
- and using data to assess performance, inform decisions and drive improvement.
- Experience in programme or initiative monitoring,
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Project management experience
- Experience working with Pacific communities, akonga, aiga, schools and providers.
- Experience in Pacific education or social services is an advantage.
- The ability and willingness to adhere to the Public Service Standards of Integrity and Conduct.
You'll be joining a supportive and purpose-driven team with a strong focus on Pacific education success.
