**About the Role**:
Are you passionate about building services and eager to kickstart your career in construction? Join us as a Building Services Cadet and gain hands-on experience in managing and coordinating building services across large-scale construction projects. This cadetship offers a supportive learning environment where you can develop technical and project management skills.

**This is a 2 year fixed term contract.**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist in the design, installation, and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, fire, and hydraulic systems.
- Support senior team members with site surveys, services coordination, and reviewing as-built plans.
- Participate in training sessions, workshops, and site visits to gain practical experience.
- Help track long lead items and report program risks.
- Assist with commissioning planning and coordination.
- Learn about industry regulations, building codes, and health & safety requirements.

**What you’ll need**:

- A bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering (or equivalent Level 8 degree)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Eagerness to learn and develop technical and coordination skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) is beneficial.
- Positive “can do” attitude.
