**Purpose of Role**:
As part of a Business Management Team, you will assist and coordinate other more junior staff to deliver against agreed business results for a defined client portfolio.

The scope of the role includes assisting a Business Director or Client Services Director with work flow management, ongoing high levels of client satisfaction and sustained profitability for the portfolio you and your team are responsible for. You will also be measured against your ability to coach the members of the team assigned to you.

You are responsible for WAVEMAKER’S’s delivery of best practice media and communication solutions that fulfil your designated clients’ business needs.

With the support of a Business Director or Client Services Director you are responsible for achieving business revenue and profitability targets on clients within your client portfolio and are expected to contribute as needed to the agency’s new business efforts.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Fulfilment of Client Business Needs**
- Client knowledge leader and champion at WAVEMAKER
- In-depth understanding of client’s business needs, their marketing challenges and the cultural implications of their company
- Assists Business Director or Client Services Director to manage key client relationships
- Maintains familiarity with history, present organisation and procedures of clients as well as regulations in their industries or product categories
- Provides input to the Business director or Client Services Director as to the appropriate skill and personalities of WAVEMAKER team working on their portfolio of clients
- Briefs trading team on commercial, marketing and communication objectives as well as channel plan, flighting, target audience, budget, metrics of success, etc.
- Works with trading in all aspects of expenditure control and reporting
- Provides client with performance updates
- Development, coaching and mentoring team members as assigned by the Business Director or Client Services Director
- Appropriate involvement with Trading, Digital specialists and GME

**Experience**
- Bachelors degree or equivalent
- Media specific Experience; a minimum of five years in an Media /Communications Account Manager type role
- Client Servicing and Account Management; proven experience at a senior level to focus attention on meeting the needs of clients and ensuring exceptional client satisfaction. Builds and maintains effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
