$23.50 - $25.00 Hourly

With the growth of Play Time we are seeking fun, energetic and engaging people to fill support staff roles in the most fun job ever

Negotiable Casual Hours to fit in with your schedule are offered during Term time, comprising Before and After School hours.

More hours are available during school holidays.
- Play Time OSCAR Programmes is seeking fun, energetic and confident people to join our awesome team in Pāpāmoa.
Key attributes:

- Fun and full of energy with big smiles
- Enjoy relating to children aged 5-13yrs
- Experience with groups of children preferred but not essential: you will support the Lead Supervisor and the team to deliver quality care, and fun and engaging activities for our before, after school and holiday programmes
- Enhance children's well-being and self esteem in a nurturing, safe and secure environment
- Strong work ethic, reliability and ability to work in a team
- Friendly with good communication skills and presentation
- Current first aid preferred but not essential

Key duties:

- Keeping children safe, happy and engaged
- Supporting the Lead Supervisor/Manager and the team to deliver programmes and activities
- Preparing afternoon teas

Experience is preferred but not essential. On-the-job training will be provided, as well as formal training.

Applicants must agree to be police vetted as this is a Core Worker role under the Vulnerable Children’s Act.

Applicants for this position should have NZ Residency or a valid NZ Work Visa.
