**The Tatua Co-operative Dairy Company is a manufacturer **and marketer of specialist high value dairy-based ingredients and consumer foods.**

We are seeking a Quality Advisor with a sound understanding of product development and quality control to work in our Research and Development team.

This is a diverse role aiming to continuously improve our quality and asset management systems within Research and Development.

**In this role you will**:

- Ensure non-conformity is investigated, assessed, and corrective actions implemented;
- Continuously improve our product development quality, NPD, and asset management processes and systems;
- Support development of hazard control plans;
- Ensure our procedures and records are maintained and improved;
- Organise training for the R&D team for quality and risk management programs;
- Support validation studies for new products;
- Provide key advice to R&D staff on quality and risk management systems;
- Be involved with Customer, Regulatory, and Management System queries and audits;
- Sound knowledge in working with quality and product safety management systems;
- Relevant training (e.g. product development, investigation of non-conformity, HACCP, or technical support) in the dairy or food industry;
- A practical aptitude and a positive attitude with a head for quality and heart for development;
- Strong interpersonal skills, to successfully influence the business at all levels and drive a quality and innovative culture;
- Critical thinking skills;
- Good written and verbal communication skills;
Food Science, Technology, or Quality qualification or equivalent

Tatua is situated east of Morrinsville, approx. 25-30 minutes from Hamilton City and Cambridge.
