**Position Purpose**: Work with Sealed Air Supply Chain, Sales, and External Customers to quantify and improve the quality and performance of Sealed Air’s products. Investigate, analyze, and lead resolution efforts for Quality issues impacting SEE customers. Provide training to customer personnel in the proper use of Sealed Air packaging materials and equipment. Recommend, assist with, and/or initiate programs designed to improve performance of Sealed Air products and equipment, as well as customer packaging processes. - Limit the potential overall exposure and Sealed Air liability for any emerging Quality issues via onsite diagnosis of root cause, material sortation, and appropriate disposition of defective materials as the Subject Matter Expert - Assess the total customer packaging process through statistical audits, process observation, and customer interaction. - Identify problems and opportunities in the Customer’s process (potentially including shipping and destination testing) and recommend product/process quality improvements that provide value to Sealed Air and our customers. - Serve as the Sealed Air quality representative in the field and provide guidance, advice, and training to customers about quality improvement techniques. - Act as advisor/liaison between internal and external customers and Supply Chain, identify areas of potential improvement and communicate those findings to customers and Sealed Air plants. - Proactively address quality issues within assigned territory/area of responsibility. Initiate the appropriate communications and drive the root cause investigation and corrective actions with the appropriate process owners (ie Operations) to resolve the issues. - Work with Supply Chain, Sales, and Applications/R&D on special projects to address customer needs such as line layout, equipment recommendations, and new product development (team member or team leader as needed). **Qualifications**: - ** Education**:Technical degree required** - **Experience**:>5 years’ experience in packaging, food packaging, flexible films, quality, or technical field - ** Skills/Certifications/Special Training**: - Six-Sigma/Lean certification is desirable, or ability to be certified. - Personal computer skills with standard software systems (WORD, EXCEL, POWERPOINT especially) are essential. **Note**: You must have New Zealand work rights to be considered for the role.
