The role is responsible for co-ordinating Canon’s strategic tender and bid responses. It involves writing creative and compelling copy across all content and bid responses while ensure a consistent tone of voice across all communications channels.

This is an exciting opportunity for a talented Bids and Copywriting Specialist to unleash their creative expertise & make their mark. It is an Auckland based hybrid role reporting to Channel & Content Marketing Lead.

**Main Duties**
- Collaborate with the Business Solutions team to develop proposals and customer presentations
- Manage and grow the library of tender information to ensure content is up to date, topical and relevant
- Own project set up, initiation and execution through every step of the bid process
- Be the voice of Canon Business through all communication channels, ensuring a consistent representation and tone of voice across the Canon Business brand
- Continue to develop a portfolio of collateral - this includes content such as case studies, whitepapers, testimonials, proposal templates, brochures and the list goes on
- Produce copywriting/ content to support marketing campaigns
- Work closely with the Channel & Content Marketing Lead to ensure bid responses are line with our channel strategy and content direction

**About You**

We are looking for a talented superstar to join our Canon Business Solutions team. This is the role for you if you have a flair for language and design, and if you have a knack for project management - but most importantly, you’ll need to be able to work easily under pressure.

Ideally you will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a related marketing discipline. A background in copywriting is essential as you’ll need to have an ability to craft a compelling story, along with an eye for developing content that looks visually appealing. Think magazine style proposals - we want to inspire and connect with our customers through engaging collateral.

We’re looking for a winning combination of excellent attention to detail and project management skills, with a love for creativity, this means you’re always looking for new ways to adapt and improve the quality of our content. Key requirements include:

- Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience in Business/ Marketing or Journalism
- Minimum of two years bid writing or Marketing experience
- Commercial acumen and disposition
- Outstanding communications capability, verbal and non-verbal
- Intermediate to advanced experience with Microsoft Office Suite such as Outlook, Word, Power Point and Adobe Creative Cloud such as Illustrator, Photoshop, or Indesign
- Superior time management & relationship building skills
- Advanced negotiation, analytical and problem solving skills
