**About the role**

We have an opportunity for a Team Leader to join our team based on-site at Auckland Hospital. Reporting to the Site Manager, and as a team member of the Supply Chain leadership team, this role will manage the day to day distribution services including the level of inventory required to meet demand of the services to ensure the right stock is available when needed.

**Reporting into the Site Manager and leading a team of seventeen, you will**:

- Promoting and supporting our strong workplace safety culture with all site staff, contractors and visitors
- Providing direction and leadership to the Distribution team; managing the flow of work through the warehouse and ensure resource is matched effectively to demand.
- Managing the day to day operations of deliveries and put away in inventory managed locations, but may include warehousing and some stock control
- Assist with the development and maintenance of efficient and effective processes
- Provide responsive, efficient and timely customer service through the optimisation of logistics related resources and minimisation of distribution cost.
- maintenance and ongoing improvement of the logistics activity, systems and processes.

**What skill and experience are we looking for?**
- 2 years proven leadership experience in warehousing and or fast-moving consumables or complex supply Chain
- Proven experience of stock management
- 2-3 years proven experience in people supervision and performance management****:

- Sound understanding of business performance measures and improvement
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Use of inventory management technology & systems
