**About the role**

We are looking for an individual to help drive our promotional planning processes, coordinate with effective communication, ensuring the effective execution of category and national sales plans. This role will drive the coordination of the activation calendar and development of promotional plans across Categories, Marketing, National Sales, and Digital.

Reporting to the Category Planning Manager, your day-to-day responsibilities will also include but not be limited to the following:

- Manage the promotional planning process for the Category team, coordinating across other functions and ensuring we are planning to appropriate horizons and achieving deadlines.
- Drive continual improvement in activation effectiveness through an activity review process to assess the return on objectives and key learnings.
- Actively support the execution of events through coordination across Category, Marketing, and 3rd party suppliers.
- Develop and drive clear communications across our network, suppliers, and customers.

As a key liaison point between our internal and external stakeholders, a passion for building rapport is a must Your outgoing personality and natural ability to attend to peoples’ needs are crucial to support and connecting the team.

**Skills and Experience**
- Proven experience in coordinating projects and/or activities across multiple internal and external parties
- Strong planning, collaboration, and stakeholder management experience
- Industry and/or relevant product knowledge would be an advantage
- Highly organized and methodical
- Strong attention to detail coupled with a flair for creativity

Multi-tasking and juggling multiple demands are key element of the role so you must be someone having grace under pressure and a highly flexible nature to be able to keep up with the high pace and excitement that the retail industry provides.

Your attention to detail combined with your proactive approach will be essential to deliver high-quality results. You must have strong computer skills and high levels of competence in PowerPoint and Excel.

These roles are working at our Head Office in Penrose, permanent opportunities, where hours are Monday to Friday, 40 hours.
