**About the Role | Mō tēnei tūranga**
We are seeking a Contract Manager, with a preference for someone who is experienced in contract management and can operate at a senior level.
The Contract Manager position plays a key role in managing relationships with an assigned portfolio of pharmaceutical suppliers which Pharmac has contracts with. This role analyses contracts, monitors contract compliance, contract events, and database management. Seniors in the team also take on a coaching and mentoring role and will look after the more complex contracts.
This role plays a critical role in managing potential supply issues and supporting the development of strategies to mitigate risk and limit the impact of supply issues.

- Extensive experience in contract management and managing supplier relationships
- Experience in analysing data and reporting on contract performance
- Strong communication skills, including excellent relationship management skills.
- Experience in mentoring and supporting staff.
- A willingness to learn about medicines, vaccines, and Pharmac.
- An ability to manage and monitor multiple priorities and the ability to anticipate needs.
- Experienced in logistics and supply chain systems.
