EOI Contract Senior Project Managers

Ignite NZ Limited is a leader in IT services, procurement and digital consulting services. As a proud Partner of Spark, we are dedicated to delivering innovative technology solutions and services to Spark corporate and business clients across the Waikato, Bay of Plenty and Taranaki regions.

Due to growth, we are expanding our Professional Services team and are looking for contract Senior Project Managers to join our team. Preferably you will be located in Waikato, Bay of Plenty or Taranaki.

Position summary: We are seeking seasoned contract senior Project Managers to join our consulting team working across the Waikato, Bay of Plenty and Taranaki regions. You will join our team of consulting level Project Managers called upon to complete a variety of digital and business focused projects, ensuring that client objectives are met and quality outcomes delivered.

Qualifications and experience

·       Previous consulting experience in Project Management, sizing and managing projects

·       Proven track record managing and delivering IT projects – especially in consulting environments

·       A minimum of 10 year's experience delivering projects across three or more industry types

·       Strong methodology mastery in waterfall, agile, hybrids or Prince2

·       Strong project governance experience across project planning, project status reporting, risk and issue management

·       Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets, forecasts and commercial aspects of projects, including vendor management

·       Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

·       Ability to show value quickly and make robust decisions in a timely manor

·       Be an analytical thinker able to analyse problems and options at pace

Personal qualities

·       Ability to understand business and the cost of doing business

·       Ability to always remain professional operating at consulting level

·       Be self-managing and lead by example

Nice to have but not a requirement

·       Certifications including PMP, Prince2 or Agile (PMI-ACP, Scrum Master)

·       Ability to work across Waikato, Bay of Plenty and Taranaki
