**Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity**
The Public Transport Services contracts team deliver commercial, contract management, and compliance services in partnership with public transport service providers. This involves the processing of contract payments, variation management, negotiation of contracts, auditing and contract planning to meet the detailed outcomes that have been procured.
A full on-boarding and induction programme will be provided for the successful applicant for the role, and you will learn from the current post-holder who still remains within the business.
**Ko koe tēnei | About you**
Key Skills will need to include:
- A tertiary qualification in Business management or administration
- 10 years experience in a contract management, administration or processing
- Leading and developing a team
- Strong Excel and analytical skills, and being comfortable dealing with large amounts of data
- It would also be desirable if you had an understanding of local government and the transport sector
