**Mō te Tūranga | About the Role**

You will be responsible for the development and maintenance of data assets to support our colleagues across BNZ. This is a challenging role working on the development of sustainable, scalable solutions. This includes:

- Develop, document, monitor and maintain data sets that meet business requirements
- Utilise data engineering tools and techniques (e.g. pipeline automation) to enable the business to gain benefit from our data, faster
- Work collaboratively across teams to ensure that investment in foundational data assets is delivering to the needs of the business
- Ensure all engineering frameworks, standards and procedures adhere to BNZ requirements and are high calibre

**Ōu Pūkenga | About You**

You will bring with you ideally 3+ years hands on experience in any of the following tools: SQL, Python, Hadoop, Spark. Alongside this you will also have:

- A background in modern data engineering practices
- The ability to translate technical information to a non-technical audience
- MS Office proficiency
- Experience working in an agile environment using DevOps practices
