We're looking for a Data Engineer who's passionate about building secure, scalable, and efficient data systems. You'll play a key role in shaping how data flows through our platforms, improving data pipelines, and helping teams across BidOne make smarter, faster decisions.

What You'll Do

  • Manage and improve BidOne's data infrastructure to ensure it's secure, scalable, and reliable.
  • Design and develop data pipelines that move and transform data efficiently.
  • Work with engineering, DevOps, and product teams to deliver insights and improvements.
  • Contribute to data modelling, performance tuning, and automation projects.
  • Support database operations including monitoring, backup, and incident management.

What You'll Bring

  • Experience with relational and distributed databases such as CockroachDB, Azure SQL, or Snowflake.
  • A strong grasp of data modelling, schema design, and performance optimisation.
  • Familiarity with ELT tools like DBT and orchestration frameworks.
  • An understanding of DevOps and automation practices.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Curiosity, adaptability, and a genuine interest in solving real-world data challenges.
