**About the role**

To provide support to Auckland Transport projects and operational groups by leading the development of business cases requiring investment in assets and services. This will include: conducting and reviewing economic and financial analyses and peer reviews of other analyses. It will also include providing business advice to the organisation to support and facilitate the preparation of business cases that follow the Better Business Case 5 case model.

The role also contributes to:

- Development and ongoing monitoring of the Regional Land Transport Plan (RLTP)
- Development of Auckland Transport's Statement of Intent
- Assisting with Auckland Transport's input to multi-agency strategic planning - such as the ATAP process
- Coordinating and supporting the Investment Committee
- Production of relevant briefing material to the Board and other stakeholders
