**We will count on you to**:
As a Senior Investment Analyst you will work as part of a team supporting Consultants in all aspects of Investments work. In addition to this, you will act as the lead Analyst on larger clients and the main contact (internally and externally) on a number of smaller clients.

**Key** **responsibilities**:

- Produces and checks complex investment performance reports for clients, industry bodies and other Mercer businesses, which are consistently accurate, including commentary that is well written and client specific
- Provides insight into investment performance through analysis of investment markets, portfolio characteristics and investment styles, and assists with the determination of appropriate investment strategies and structures for clients (internal and external), drafting reports and other documentation as required.
- Manage day to day relationships with clients (external and internal), managers and other industry bodies, and keeps clients and other Mercer businesses informed of major developments within the industry, including governance issues and changes within investment management firms.
- Acts as a mentor to Junior Analysts, delegating work as appropriate to utilize and develop skills, knowledge and confidence.
- Assists with the preparation of proposals and presentations to clients, prospects, external parties and other Mercer businesses. Manage client on-boarding process.

**What you need to have**:
**Education**
- Degree qualification in Finance, Mathematics, Business, Economics or other related discipline.
- Studying for CFA professional qualification.

**Experience**
- Awareness and understanding of the main areas of the Investments business, particularly investment markets and products.

**Knowledge & Technical**
- Understands trends and themes, and the link between data and relevant issues.
- Demonstrated analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Able to manage workflow, and pro-actively raises issues with lead consultant.
- Strong interpersonal and written communications skills
