Do you want to make a difference to New Zealand's tamariki, rangatahi, whānau and communities across the Waikato?
Come and join our great, supportive, and fun team and grow your administration experience to new heights with our team as we provide statutory care and protection services.
You will be responsible for meeting the administration needs of Social Work kaimahi, with direct and specialised support to our Site Manager. This mahi includes but is not limited to:

- Assistance with financial plans, data collection, and reporting,
- Scheduling interview appointments, coordinating external hui and maintaining stakeholder relationships,
- Managing sensitive and confidential information skilfully,
- Liaise with vendors, casual staff, and other stakeholders as needed,
- Working closely and collaboratively with our Iwi partners,
- Working with various cultural groups and people from different backgrounds,
- Booking rooms, answering phones, and assisting on the reception desk,
- Organising welcomes/whakatau for newcomers and whānau as and when required,
- Deal with critical scenarios in a calm, professional manner,
- Supporting the overall smooth running of our site.

**Key requirements of the role include**:

- Support the team with all aspects of Health and Safety,
- Have a strong computer and IT knowledge, with expertise in Microsoft Suite, Sharepoint and Outlook,
- Admin skills such as typing, minute taking, reporting, responding to Site needs,
- Cultural awareness and an understanding of Tikanga Māori principles,
- A commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi,
- Strong time management and ability to manage competing demands,
- excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to adapt to your audience,
- Understanding and appreciation of cross-cultural practices in particular; knowledge of tikanga Māori, and Pacific peoples' culture.
- Ability to communicate complex ideas to a variety of audiences and build and maintain rapport with others,
