The successful applicant will have the opportunity to work on the full range of transportation projects including large scale highways, urban street renewals and city center developments, airport developments, renewable energy schemes and business cases for Waka Kotahi and local governments. **Responsibilities will include**:

- Maintain and develop expertise and stay abreast of developments, current industry issues and best practice in the relevant technical field.
- Support integrated design through effective communication and coordination with other disciplines.
- Proficiency in 12d or Open Roads Designer (ORD) Geometric and transport civils design
- 2D AutoCAD experience were required to support civil design and delivery
- Contribute to client satisfaction through being responsive, timely and effective in all communication.
- Take responsibility for the delivery of all aspects of individual projects to a client. This involves technical quality, budget, and programme.

Minimum Requirements

We are looking for a transportation/civil engineer with a strong technical background with demonstrated experience in civil and transport/geometric design along with:

- 5 to 10 years’+ relevant experience preferably in a consulting environment with exposure to assisting in the delivery of medium and large scale transportation infrastructure projects
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Good knowledge of design software tools

Preferred Qualifications

+ A Degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Environmental, or similar), or equivalent

+ CPEng status - desirable (or working towards)
