**The role**

You will work to, and partner with the Head of HSW in delivering the 5-key performance areas in the HSE strategic plan. This has had board sign off and is an exciting time to see a plan all the way through from building the objectives to positive outcomes.

We will require a forward thinking, experienced safety advisor to drive outcomes and performance. Able to coach, influence and develop, you will be a pragmatic, versatile professional. Exceptional people management skills are essential in the complex, large scale environment for its staff and those that are affected by their performance.

**Duties**
- Support group wide safety initiatives and strategic direction
- Partner in the team to collaborate with organisational and operational leaders, growing HSW awareness and ownership
- Develop and implement people centred, simple HSW solutions, in line with wider objections
- Build powerful partnerships with relevant industry bodies and stakeholders
- Provide expert guidance to those in the undertaking
- Love a fast-paced organisational change leader and be outcome focussed in all that you do.

**Skills and experience**
- Ability to coach and advise at all levels
- Proven ability to drive and deliver key outcomes
- Able to implement operational initiatives in a large, complex environment
- Strong understanding of modern HSW concepts
- Pragmatic and resilient
- Tertiary level Health and Safety qualification preferable
- Robust and thorough working knowledge of HSWA 2015
