**About the role**:
You will directly influence the next generation of leaders with New Zealand, as you share your experience, skills and training with students from many backgrounds. In this role, you will be in an energetic online asynchronous learning environment where value is placed on delivering outcomes and student engagement.

**Some of your key responsibilities will be to**:

- Participate in the continuous improvement of course content and learning resources
- Deliver assessments and have an overview of the grading process, ensuring students are evaluated to prescribed national and local qualification standards
- Keep records of accurate student data, assessment results, student participation, student-at-risk and other required documentation.

**About you**:
We are looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable First Line Management (Business) Tutor with a background in areas related to effective leadership and development of work place teams to teach our Certificate in Leading Workplace Teams (Level 4). In this role, you will also help students grow their knowledge of organisational behaviour, business operations, people & culture and staff management. Your own experience will bring theory to life for the Online students.

The aim of this programme is to provide graduates and Aotearoa New Zealand with people who can lead effective teams and manage workflows to achieve team and/or organisation objectives when employed in first line management roles. It will also support learners to develop sensitivity and responsiveness required in supervising and managing diverse teams.

You must also be enthusiastic, positive, patient, and a motivated self-starter who has a passion for sharing knowledge and trying new things. Your exceptional communication and time management skills, along with the ability to connect and build relationships will be the key to your success

You don’t need any experience in tutoring, we will provide you with comprehensive learning, and support teaching tools to become successful in your online tutor role.

**Ideally, you will also have**:

- A qualification in an area related to business management/leadership or equivalent work experience.
- An ability to connect with students through facilitated asynchronous delivery: through our platform’s forums, messaging and live sessions. Must also provide basic pastoral care and support to the students.
- A keenness to expand your adult teaching skillset as part of your professional development.
- Commitment to Te Tiriti O Waitangi
- Strong digital literacy with competency in Microsoft365 Suite
