**Next-Generation Storage Solutions**

We are seeking a talented HDD Product Engineer to join our team at Seagate Technology. As a member of our HDD product development team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing test processes to support new product launches, performing bench-level tests and data analysis to understand and resolve HDD failures, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop innovative storage solutions.

About the Position

  • Develop and implement test process code to support new product launches.
  • Perform bench-level tests and data analysis to understand and resolve HDD failures.
  • Frequently interact with design engineering functions to ensure successful execution throughout product development phases.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement innovative storage solutions.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of disk drive subsystems and their interactions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related Engineering discipline.
  • At least 10 years' experience in HDD drive test processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Good command of English in both written and verbal form.

Bonus Requirements

  • Good knowledge of HDD.
  • Comprehensive understanding of HDD test processes.
  • Programming skills in Python and a working knowledge of C language.
