**Seagate's HDD Product Development Team**
We are a team of dedicated professionals at Seagate Technology, focused on developing the next generation of Hard Disk Drives (HDDs). Our mission is to bring innovative storage solutions to the market by leveraging cutting-edge technologies, advanced recording methodologies, and Big Data analytics.
We are currently seeking a skilled HDD Product Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in HDD certification and methodologies, as well as experience in integrating new technologies into disk drive hardware, firmware, and factory test processes.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement test process code to support new product launches.
- Perform bench-level tests and data analysis to understand and resolve HDD failures.
- Frequently interact with design engineering functions to ensure successful execution throughout product development phases.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement innovative storage solutions.
- Maintain a strong understanding of disk drive subsystems and their interactions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related Engineering discipline.
- At least 10 years' experience in HDD drive test processes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Good command of English in both written and verbal form.

- Good knowledge of HDD.
- Comprehensive understanding of HDD test processes.
- Programming skills in Python and a working knowledge of C language.
