We're seeking an experienced Supply Chain Planning Manager to drive efficiency and excellence in our supply chain operations. This key role will work closely with production partners, ingredient suppliers, and packaging suppliers to optimize inventory levels and meet customer requirements.

The ideal candidate will have strong decision-making skills, managing MRPII systems, procuring direct materials, and providing a continuous flow of inventory to copackers and manufacturing facilities. Effective communication skills are essential, with the ability to work with internal and external partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage inventory at multiple locations, ensuring accurate monthly inventory reconciliations.
  • Replenish warehouse inventory levels to meet company targets and customer service objectives.
  • Release orders against POs, schedule loads, manage delivery timing, and conduct transactional reconciliations.
  • Collaborate with the Quality team to release materials for production and dispose of rejected or expired inventory.
  • Analyze and develop action plans to reduce product loss.
  • Coordinate raw materials supply, maintaining optimal inventory levels at the plant.
  • Schedule and track production at internal facilities and third-party locations.
  • Work with the procurement team to forecast, review contract requirements, and resolve supply issues.
  • Manage packaging materials in conjunction with demand.
  • Maintain a production schedule that supports the sales forecast.
  • Monitor production plans and make adjustments as needed.
  • Develop and monitor supply chain capacity, addressing bottlenecks.
  • Issue purchase orders to support production plans.
  • Arrange freight for various stages of the supply chain.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Supply Chain planning.
  • Demonstrated self-management skills.
  • Effective communication skills, with ability to work with internal and external partners.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with MRP systems, preferably Deacom or SAP.
  • Expert-level experience in Excel.
  • Able to troubleshoot independently and handle multiple locations and products.
