We are looking for a highly skilled professional to join our team as a Case Worker/Social Worker at The Salvation Army Midland Bridge Centre.

**About the Role:**

This role involves providing casework that addresses the complex needs of individuals experiencing co-existing addiction and mental health issues. You will facilitate group sessions, work within our established programme framework, and implement policies and procedures aligned with our organisational values.

**Key Requirements:**

  • Tertiary qualification in Alcohol & Drug studies or related field (e.g., Social Work, Psychology, Nursing).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Professional registration with relevant bodies (DAPAANZ, SWRB, HPCA).
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development in addiction studies.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, maintaining confidentiality and respect for individual privacy.
  • Experience in group facilitation and case management within the Alcohol & Drug sector.
  • Awareness of Treaty of Waitangi requirements and willingness to work from a bi-cultural perspective.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse backgrounds and cultures.
