Job Role
We are seeking an experienced Case Worker/Social Worker to join our residential service in Hamilton. This is a permanent full-time role that requires a commitment to delivering casework services that address co-existing addiction and mental health issues.
Main Responsibilities
- Provide casework services that cater to the needs of individuals experiencing addiction and mental health issues.
- Facilitate group work sessions to promote recovery and well-being.
- Implement The Salvation Army Bridge Programme Model of Treatment.
- Ensure adherence to The Salvation Army Bridge Programme Policies and Procedures.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Tertiary qualification in Alcohol & Drug or a related field (e.g., Social Work, Psychology, Nursing).
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Professional registration with relevant bodies (DAPAANZ, SWRB, HPCA).
- Commitment to ongoing professional development in addiction studies.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while maintaining confidentiality and privacy.
- Experience in group facilitation and case management in the Alcohol & Drug field.
