Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Case Worker/Social Worker to join our residential service in Hamilton. As a key member of our team, you will provide casework services that cater to the needs of individuals experiencing addiction and mental health issues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provision of casework services that address co-existing addiction and mental health problems.
  • Facilitation of group work sessions.
  • Implementation of The Salvation Army Bridge Programme Model of Treatment.
  • Adherence to The Salvation Army Bridge Programme Policies and Procedures.

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualification in Alcohol & Drug or a related field (e.g., Social Work, Psychology, Nursing).
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Professional registration with relevant bodies (DAPAANZ, SWRB, HPCA).
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development in addiction studies.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while maintaining confidentiality and privacy.
  • Experience in group facilitation and case management in the Alcohol & Drug field.
  • Awareness of bi-cultural perspectives and willingness to work in a culturally sensitive manner.
