**About the Role**
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Registered Nurse to join our multi-disciplinary team at Infant, Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (iCAMHS) in Rotorua.
Rotorua is a growing community with a rich cultural diversity, offering a unique blend of urban and outdoor lifestyles.
This role involves working with a wide range of people from the community, including children, young people, and their families, to provide mental health assessment and therapeutic interventions.
The ideal candidate will have strong skills in assessment, case formulation, and treatment planning, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
You will work collaboratively with other clinicians to develop and implement effective treatment plans, and contribute to the development of the iCAMHS service.
We welcome applications from experienced nurses who can demonstrate a commitment to working with tamariki, rangitahi, and their whanau, and who are eager to develop their skills and knowledge in child mental health.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Mental health assessment and therapeutic interventions for children, young people, and their families
- Developing and implementing effective treatment plans
- Collaborating with other clinicians to achieve positive outcomes
- Contribution to the development of the iCAMHS service
**Requirements**
- Registration or eligibility for registration with a NZ professional body
- Current full clean NZ driver's license
- Children's worker safety checks
- Strong mental health assessment and therapeutic intervention skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
