Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse or other suitably qualified health professional to join our Adult Community Mental Health & Addictions Service. The successful candidate will have experience in a community mental health and/or addictions environment and be able to provide specialist intervention for people to optimise recovery and quality of life as well as case coordination.

The Lakes Opioid Treatment Service (LOTS) is a growing team that works in close partnership with the Lakes community addiction providers. Although the role is based in Rotorua, services extend to the satellite office in Taupo.

Key Requirements:
  • A registered Nurse or other suitably qualified health professional with experience in a community mental health and/or addictions environment.
  • Sound assessment, psychosocial intervention and talking therapy skills.
  • Competent in all facets of assessment, holistic care and multi-disciplinary team work.
