About the Role

The Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) teams provide specialist mental health services for children and adolescents between the ages of birth and 19 years. The CAMHS teams aim to provide assessments and interventions that assist our client group in achieving their goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess and develop treatment plans for young people with significant mental health problems
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to provide high-quality care
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with families and whānau
  • Participate in continuous service improvement initiatives, including quality assurance and evaluation activities

About You

We are seeking a registered occupational therapist with current annual practicing certificate. A background in mental health assessment and interventions is highly desirable. As an integral member of our team, you will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
