**Our Team**
The Mental Health, Addiction and Intellectual Disability Service (MHAIDS) spans two districts - Capital, Coast and Hutt Valley (Greater Wellington) district and Wairarapa district. Our teams provide mental health care to local and regional men's and women's prisons and youth offending units and justice facilities.

As a Clinical Forensic Specialist, you will be part of a knowledgeable, high-achieving team that provides flexible part-time/full-time options, permanent or fixed-term locum positions, and opportunities for training and professional development.
**Your Role**
You will be vocationally registered in Psychiatry with the Medical Council of New Zealand (MCNZ) or hold an equivalent qualification. Speciality training in Forensic Psychiatry is preferred. You will work closely with our community teams to provide care for people who require supervision and support by virtue of their status as Special Patients or who have ongoing need for forensic community support.
