About the Service
The Bone Marrow Transplant Unit is a specialized department within our hospital that provides treatment for patients with malignant and non-malignant haematological disorders. As a Healthcare Assistant in this unit, you will have the opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care and support our patients throughout their treatment journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with the nursing team to provide patient care and support.
- Assist with ward cleaning and housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Prepare patient rooms for admission and assist with discharges.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Healthcare Assistant or similar role.
- Able to work all shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and nights.
- Punctual and reliable with excellent time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with patients and staff.
