  • Lead a team of project managers to ensure best practice in project governance, execution, and delivery across KiwiRail Freight
  • Foster a culture of excellence and adaptability, ensuring efficient resource allocation and risk management
  • Develop, implement, and continuously refine project management standards, methodologies, and tools

Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Ten plus years of experience in project management with at least five years in a leadership role within a PMO or similar function
  • Proven experience in establishing a PMO, developing project governance frameworks, and driving project delivery excellence
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation abilities
  • Demonstrated success in project portfolio management, budgeting, and resource optimisation
