Strategic Governance Administrator

Help drive the success of the Future Accommodation Strategy (FAS) programme by providing essential project coordination, administration, and documentation control.
This ambitious multi-year initiative aims to develop Parliament's strategic accommodation goals for the next 30 years, leveraging innovative technology and sustainable practices to ensure resilience and engage the public and politicians.
- Collaborate closely with the FAS project delivery team to deliver high-quality project coordination, administration, and documentation control.
- Enhance collaboration and open communication among project stakeholders, including contractors and consultants, to maintain project information flow.
- Offer expert email and calendar support for FAS Project leads, coordinate meetings and workshops, and record project actions and tasks.
- Ensure compliance with internal project management methodologies and support governance by producing relevant reports for the Project Director and governance board.
- Oversee contract administration processes, including workflow establishment and management of digitised building contract records.
- Provide vital financial monitoring support to the project finance lead, including invoicing and accrual processing.
- Protect the integrity of the construction management platform (Procore), maintaining data security, compliance, and effective documentation practices.
To excel in this role, you must have:
- A proven experience in a project-based role with a deep understanding of project management frameworks, including health and safety, risk management, and governance.
- Natural strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent planning, coordination, and time-management abilities, demonstrating effective communication and relationship management skills.
- A self-motivated team player who can work independently, prioritise tasks under pressure, and maintain confidentiality.
- A commitment to health, safety, and wellbeing initiatives, along with an understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and a willingness to promote biculturalism in the workplace.
