As an Electronics Systems Designer in our Caterpillar Trimble Control Technologies (CTCT) division, you'll play a key role in developing machine control products that use site design information combined with positioning technology.

This innovative technology enables machine operators to perform their work safely, accurately, efficiently, sustainably, and effectively through the use of sophisticated yet intuitive user-centric technology.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Converting market requirements into engineering specifications and technical solutions
  • Contributing to the development of schedules and overseeing best practice implementation of detailed electrical design
  • Working with Original Design Manufacturers (ODMs) to ensure timely delivery of quality electronic component designs
  • Taking responsibility for electrical design quality according to international design and manufacturing best practices

To be successful in this role, you should possess excellent attention to detail, strong commitment to quality, and the following skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Demonstrated industry experience in a relevant engineering design position
  • Proficiency with eCAD systems, experience in Cadence OrCAD and Allegro
  • Knowledge of theories, practices, and procedures relating to electronic product design, test, and equipment/tools applied in the real world
