We're a dynamic restaurant seeking an experienced chef to join our team. Our menu is inspired by the flavors of Africa, with dishes prepared fresh daily using high-quality ingredients.

A successful candidate will possess:

  1. at least 1 year's experience in a professional kitchen, ideally 2 years, where food is prepared and cooked to order;
  2. excellent communication and teamwork skills, allowing them to work effectively with other staff members;
  3. a strong commitment to maintaining a positive attitude and being punctual;
  4. a stable employment history, without frequent job changes;

Your key responsibilities will include:

  1. preparing and cooking high-quality dishes to meet our standards;
  2. collaborating with other team members to achieve our goals and maintain a smooth workflow;
  3. ensuring a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations;

This is a full-time, permanent position with a competitive hourly rate (£13.00) and a standard working week (45 hours).

Candidates should have at least 2 years' experience as a chef to be considered for this role.

This is an in-person role, requiring regular attendance at our restaurant.
